The Division of Global Migration and Quarantine is recruiting for a GS-15 Epidemiologist (or Commissioned Officer equivalent) to serve as a senior advisor to the Division Director and Deputy Director on activities related to community interventions for infection control.  This position will (1) plan, direct, implement, and evaluate community interventions for infection control programs, (2) provide leadership and oversight in the development of national priorities and policies, program evaluation, and expert consultation and advisory services on the prevention of infectious diseases through non-pharmaceutical interventions, (3) develop, implement and evaluate surveillance activities, epidemiologic research and prevention research for national and international programs, (4) coordinate and review projects and budgets initiative proposals for approval and (5) perform administrative and personnel management functions related to staff supervised.    

 

This position is open to current CDC/ATSDR employees and PHS Commissioned Corps Officers.
