Position Available - Research Assistant: 

 

To provide support to dissertation research for a CUNY DrPH student that is ABD (all but dissertation) and hopes to defend her dissertation by January 2013. Conduct data entry and cleaning, literature review and summary, and other research-related tasks to assist with dissertation preparation.  Generous stipend will be provided.   I seek a college graduate that is enrolled in a Master's in Public Health or related Masters program, with the following experience and skills:

  • Data entry and cleaning
  • Comfort with Excel and Stata software packages
  • Literature review
  • Meticulous, detail oriented work, even if fairly rote (e.g. data entry)
  • Well organized
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge and interest in adolescent sexual and reproductive health a plus

I seek a person who is available to begin work immediately, and is available through January 2013.
