Dear Hunter College Nutrition Students~~ The Nutrition Club needs help! Food Day Volunteers needed! This coming Wed, Oct 24th is the 2nd Annual Food Day and we have a few fabulous events planned. But we're a little short staffed and need some volunteers who want to be able to add some great volunteer work to their resume. The Big Apple Giveaway (outside Silberman) - 2 SHIFTS, TIMES: 2-2:30p and 2:30-3p We need 2-3 volunteers to hand out apples to passersby as part of our way to encourage our East Harlem community to enjoy healthy snacks. 2. Kids Crunch - Elementary School (about 3 blocks from Silberman) - TIME: 12-12:45p We need 5-6 volunteers to come out and help 200 kids each get apples and take a simultaneous bit as part of our mission to help NYC break the record for the most apples crunched at one time.
