As of September 30 at midnight, the current farm bill has expired and Congress has not adopted a new farm bill or a short-term extension of the current bill. No vote is expected until after the November elections. What does this mean for the country? What programs will be affected? How will Congress move forward? For answers to those questions and others, we recommend reading the National Sustainable Agriculture Coalition<http://r20.rs6.net/tn.jsp?e=0018CQWMYX9zpg1k3dqamUvQJ-mqTxtdLCdQohDB2okl7sSC6yFtbVcXFx1dR-NkgarO_UL4m4B0HpJrF6IB0pZPtqNHsbymq_7ehOEkoqbQ4NrpQ9Vpt0LzpC0RqhNAFQg>'s latest blog post, "Path to the 2012 Farm Bill: Farm Bill Expires on Monday - What Does It Mean and What Happens Now?"<http://r20.rs6.net/tn.jsp?e=0018CQWMYX9zphXki2vB-1hGzJjm5pxnIqTPQls2uAveH0xYvIGVa8ATkDjCE-9dan2GM-4KuSktiFisfe5lDQyZSTVRXLqTxfVKbIQzVYzlqW_fVkHAeuam7JnA73es0Sb72W_j6hI-mbGgHERvkx3FUlkBOC1HkqBB4SHypvZldCKG8TS8smLhA==>
