Some of the jurisdictions we have worked with on healthy vending have found the following resources helpful in addressing these kinds of vendor-related questions:
· California Department of Public Health’s Network for a Healthy California’s Vending Machine Standards document contains a list of “vendors offering selected healthy products” on page 3, and other helpful links.· Community Commons’ healthy vending page has many relevant examples and case studies.
· The Bay Area Nutrition & Physical Activity Collaborative’s Healthy Vending Machine Toolkit contains among other things a Sample lists of food and Vending companies with healthy options. Please note: these resources are now over 5 years old, but have still proven to be good starting places.
· The National Automated Merchandising Association’s Fit Pick™ Healthy Vending Solution.
