On March 12th, we the NYAS will hold a symposium entitled The Good Fat: Understanding Adipogenesis and Function of Brown Fat. This conference will present recent research exploring adipogenesis focusing on brown adipose tissue, detailing its molecular underpinning and illuminating its stimulation and conversion. Importantly, the conference will explore BAT implications in diet-induced obesity and will conclude with a panel discussion on perspectives for treatment and prevention.
