Event at Columbia TOMORROW (Saturday, February 9) - 

Columbia University College of Dental Medicine SNDA has a mentorship program that is designed to pair pre-dental college students with dental students. This is an opportunity for them to ask any questions they may have about applying to dental school, a career in dentistry and life at Columbia. Saturday February 9.   "Meet and Greet" on February 9th from 1130pm-2pm in Riverview Lounge. First a tour of the dental school and then the "Meet and Greet" with the mentors. There will be a panel discussion with dental students from each class and lunch will be served.  Please direct them to RSVP at [log in to unmask] if they are interested. 

Meet in the hammer sciences library at 1130am on 168th and Fort Washington and start the tour.

Wednesday, February 13th - SUNY Downstate Office of Minority Affairs- A representative from SUNY Downstate will provide information about paid summer opportunities for under-represented students interested in the health professions. Wednesday, February 13th - "Searching for New Treatments for Heart Muscle and Brain Diseases" by Dr. Marks from Columbia University and a special introduction to Columbia's Summer Program for Under-Represented Students (SPURS). 2-3pm in 1036 North.
