Specific projects include:
Hepatitis-C Best Practice Alert Study: A study to determine the effectiveness of an EMR-embedded alert to encourage physicians to screen patients born between 1960-1980 for Hepatitis-C. Work would include programming the incoming hospital
system data, and analyses focusing on process/implementation and outcomes.
Asthma: A multiyear cohort study on health literacy, beliefs, and outcomes of elderly Asthmatics. Work would be focused on final study analyses, including longitudinal and repeated measures analyses as well as structural equation modeling.
COPD: A multiyear cohort study on cognition and outcomes of elderly patients with COPD. Work would include scoring/testing/validation of survey measures and analysis.
