FACULTY POSITION

The Undergraduate Program of Health Sciences in the Department of Physical Therapy at The Sage Colleges invites applications for a 9-month, full time faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor effective Fall 2013. Appointment may be tenure track or non-tenure track (Professor of Practice). The department is one of six (Forensic Mental Health, Nursing, Nutrition, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Psychology) in the School of Health Sciences.

The full time position includes opportunities for teaching in several areas in the health science program including complementary medicine, introduction to health professions, cultural competence, community health education, and exercise physiology. This position will also have responsibilities in student recruitment and advisement, program evaluation, scholarly work, and college-related service. Tenure track faculty members are expected to have a productive research agenda.

The successful candidate will possess a minimum of a Master's Degree in a health-related field. Candidates with prior teaching experience in the identified content areas as well as evidence of inter-professional and community service programming are preferred.
