Eating Disorders and the Angst of Adolescence
Presented by:
Dee Franklin, MA
Manager/Team Leader at The Renfrew Center of Florida
Wednesday, May 29, 2013
Noon - 1:00pm EDT
This webinar will address the many developmental and emotional challenges adolescents currently face in our culture. The emergence of an eating disorder
often interrupts the developmental cycle, causing setbacks physically, academically and socially; the innocence of adolescence is replaced with a preoccupation with food and body image. The cost is often far reaching, affecting relationships both at home and
school. Suggestions for helping clients develop effective coping strategies will be provided.
