FULL TIME WIC PROGRAM BREASTFEEDING COORDINATOR
The William F. Ryan Community Health Center, a federally funded Multi-Site Community Health Center in Manhattan, is seeking a full time Breastfeeding Coordinator to manage
the WIC Program breastfeeding initiatives. Responsibilities include oversight of the Breastfeeding Peer Counseling Program, the Breast Pump Program, as well as day-to-day breastfeeding promotion and support services for WIC Program participants. Other duties
include assisting the Program Director in day to day management and providing nutrition assessment for participants when needed.
Qualifications include:
Bachelor’s degree in nutrition is required
Registered Dietitian (RD) is required
International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) is preferred, or other Certification in Lactation Management
Bilingual English / Spanish is preferred
Previous Supervisory Experience is preferred
