This summer Bloomberg LP is hosting a Summer Intern Challenge on August 1st. In order to attend this event, students must take the Bloomberg Aptitude Test (BAT)  between 06/01/2013 and 07/25/2013. Students must score among the Top 200 test-takers.

Students should participate because it is an exclusive invitation-only private Bloomberg event to the top BAT scorers this summer (bring a guest who has taken the BAT as well, regardless of their score)
- Enjoy the company of other smart interns
- Enhance your social and business network exponentially
- Network with our event speakers
- Enjoy a very classy catered event
- Open to everyone (internship not required)

Also, here is more information about the Bloomberg Aptitude Test:

The BAT enables test takers, based entirely on their individual abilities, to get in front of 20,000+ employers, who are conducting daily searches to identify and fill internships and entry-level positions.

It is a multiple choice test that evaluates your abilities as relative to a career in finance and then helps you to anonymously market yourself to over 20,000 global employers via the Bloomberg Talent Search<http://www.talentsearch.bloomberginstitute.com/>.

All questions on the BAT evaluate aptitude rather than knowledge so you do not have to have a background in Finance in order to do well on the test. You will be placed into commonly encountered workplace scenarios and are evaluated on your ability to identify the best solution to the problem encountered.

Over 80,000 students have taken the BAT in over 1,000 universities around the world. In the past three months over 12,000 BAT test takers have been contacted by companies to discuss employment opportunities. Companies actively recruiting BAT test takers include (but are not limited to): TeachFirst, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Deutsche Bank, Citigroup, AIG, Kellogg Company, Robert W. Baird, European Commission, Guggenheim Partners, Macro Risk Advisors, BP, Fitch Rating, FTI Consulting, Hamilton Lane, Pierpont Securities, and RBS.
