Dietetic Technician

 

 

 

The Renfrew Center of New York, NY has an opening for a

Part-Time Dietetic Technician

 

Responsibilities: Assist Dietitian in conducting nutrition groups; reviewing daily food journals to assess patients' nutritional intake throughout treatment; working with vendors to facilitate ordering meals for patients; keeping track of the food inventory, and completing meal set up. This position would also assist with nutritional assessments and establishing individual food plans as needed to initiate patients into appropriate eating patterns and making proper menu choices; participating in weekly rounds and mini teams as needed.

 

Requirements: Registered Dietetic Technician or RD eligible required.  Professional with some eating disorders experience preferred. 

 

Hours: 8 hours per week.
