Volunteering for Food and Nutrition Program

for People living with HIV/AIDS

BronxWorks, a community-based organization with a strong record of 40 years of experience in meeting needs in the Bronx, is seeking volunteers to help with its Food and Nutrition Program for people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWH/A).

This is an excellent opportunity for nutrition and DPD students seeking experience in community nutrition. Volunteers would be supervised by a registered dietitian and help with distributing meals and food pantry bags.

Additionally, volunteers may help in other ways depending on interest and experience such as co-leading nutrition education groups and cooking demonstrations, or leading farmer’s market tours.

Thank you.
