We are currently recruiting for a full-time Associate Vice President, Project Street Beat.  The position is based in the Bronx office located at 349 E 149th Street and requires regular travel to the Brooklyn office located at 1406 Fulton Street.

This is an Exempt position reporting to the Vice President of Clinical Services.
POSITION SUMMARY:

Provides overall strategic planning and programmatic leadership for Project Street Beat (PSB). Develops innovative programs and services. Works closely with PSB senior managers to ensure administrative and programmatic oversight of services. Collaborates with Grants and Development Departments to acquire and maintain funding and to continually ensure that PSB programs meet the needs of target populations and achieve grant deliverables. Develops innovative programs and partners with Research and Evaluation Department to measure and demonstrate the effectiveness of services in achieving desired outcomes. Represents PPNYC with partner organizations, public and private funders and governmental agencies administering programs for HIV-positive and at-risk populations. Presents work of Project Street Beat and represents PPNYC at conferences and workshops. Collaborates with funders and partner organizations to develop best practices. Assumes responsibility for working with Finance Department on budget preparation and oversight to ensure regulatory compliance. Develops and oversees new program initiatives. Promotes integration of PSB with other PPNYC programs and departments.


QUALIFICATIONS:

Requires Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.  Master’s Degree is preferred. Requires at least 5-7 years of related and/or applicable experience, of which 3 years must be in a supervisory capacity.  Must be capable of overseeing compliance and established program behavior standards, both in the office and in field. Must be experienced working with at-risk and HIV infected/affected populations facing a broad range of social problems.
