Volunteer/Internship opportunity in Nutrition Research
Project: Dietary behaviors of South Asian immigrants

We are seeking student interns/volunteers who can read and speak Hindi, Urdu or Bengali (undergraduate or graduate students in nutrition, psychology, sociology, anthropology, urban studies, etc.) to help in conducting a health and nutrition study
with South Asian adults at primary care clinics in Queens.
Student intern will travel to primary clinics in Flushing and other areas of Queens to do diet-related interviews and do some office work including data entry. Based on your interest and aptitude, opportunities are available to participate in other research
activities such as data analysis, preparation and presentation of research results. This is a great opportunity for honors students who are looking for thesis projects.
