Subject: We Need Your Help Assessing Food on Public Property

Across the country, state and local agencies are working to improve food and beverage choices on public property (healthy food procurement). To support these efforts, we are conducting a national study of foods and beverages available on state and local properties around the country. This study will help to better inform policy efforts and support state and local efforts to adopt healthy food procurement policies.

We need help collecting data from sites in your area. State and local properties include, but are not limited to:
*        State and local parks
* Highway rest stops on state managed highways
* State and local court houses
*        Agency buildings
*        Town/City Halls; State Capitols
*        State universities
*        State hospitals

Please email Erica Friedman ([log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>) if you are able to assist us with this study or would like more information. Please share this request with other colleagues who might be interested in helping with this effort.

Thank you for your consideration.

Katie and Margo
