Subject: One last push to include movie theaters in menu labeling
As you likely know, the Obama Administration proposed exempting movie theaters from the national menu labeling law. However, we recently spotted voluntary calorie labeling at an AMC Theater in Virginia. Movie theaters in California, New York City, and other locations are also providing calorie information, due to state and local policies.
Please join us in one last push to urge the White House to not exempt movie theaters from menu labeling. Model tweets and Facebook posts are below. Please let us know if you can help or would like a model alert to send out to your members. Thank you!

Who would guess that Pretzel Bites w/ Cheese from AMC Theaters have 1,690 calories!? (That’s almost a day’s worth.) That’s why giving people access to nutrition information is so important. Please let the White House know you want calorie information at movie theaters. http://bit.ly/1bWQ2UT
