We are conducting a search for a key wellness case management leadership position and seek your help in making your students, alumni and colleagues aware of our outstanding organization and this excellent career opportunity.

 

Our WeCare program is a specialized welfare-to-work program serving individuals with disabilities who are receiving or applying for public assistance. Services include comprehensive medical, social and vocational assessment, wellness, vocational rehabilitation, employment and job placement.

A brief description of the position we are seeking to fill is described below for your information.

 

Assistant Director, Wellness and Entitlements

 

The Assistant Director will assist in overseeing the daily operations and supervise staff teams to develop and implement the Wellness Rehabilitation, Wellness Plus and Federal Disability Entitlement programs in the medical component of WeCare. Ensures case management services are provided to cash assistance applicants and recipients who are engaged in Wellness Plans to stabilize a medical or psychiatric condition before an employment determination can be made and to individuals who may have chronic, long term disabling conditions that may qualify them for Social Security Disability Benefits.

 

The ideal candidate will have three (3) years of experience in the delivery of client

services in a community-based or health organization with one (1) year at the supervisory level. Knowledge of entitlements and the policies of federal, state and city agencies and strong computer skills required. Master’s degree in Social Work, Nursing, Public Health, Public Administration or related field and prior quality assurance/utilization review experience strongly preferred.
