The Healthy CUNY Initiative's (HCI) goal is to ensure CUNY students graduate in better health than when they enter and are better equipped to maintain lifetime health and contribute to a healthier New York. Acknowledging the strong connection between educational achievement and health, HCI seeks to reduce the physical, psychological and family-related health barriers that block academic success and graduation. HCI is looking for a motivated MPH student to co-author a systematic review of the literature, which is focused on the link between sexual and reproductive health (SRH) and educational outcomes at the college level. The MPH student will work closely with the staff of HCI and a DPH student fellow. Student must have previous experience in some area of sexual or reproductive health research and be able to handle independent work. Independent study credit and/or stipend available. Sponsorship by public health faculty will be provided. Please send cv, time availablity and short statement of interest to Dana Watnick at [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> by December 13, 2013.
