She recently completed her dissertation at Simmons College entitled 'Registered Dietitians' Concern and Actions Regarding Climate Change' which looked at the factors that influence RD's in connecting diet and climate change. In addition to her numerous peer-reviewed publications she has taught college courses on nutrition, ecology and public health.  She is the recipient of numerous awards and honors such as Outstanding Educational Outreach from the American Heart Association of Boston and Outpatient Mental Health Services Inspiration and Education Award from Harborview Medical Center.
