Job Description:
Concentric has an immediate opening for analysts and consultants with exceptional quantitative, analytical, and communication skills. At Concentric, analysts and consultants serve a critical role on project teams as the primary contributor of modeling, data analysis, and research tasks that are essential to a successful client engagement. In all cases, challenging problems require innovative and creative solutions. They also require working collaboratively with colleagues. Concentric’s assignments frequently involve high profile merger and acquisition transactions, corporate strategy, valuation and market analysis requiring advanced modeling skills, and expert testimony requiring attention to detail and the ability to meet aggressive schedules. Modest and variable travel requirements (approximately 25%).

Job Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of relevant work experience preferably in the energy, electric and/or natural gas industries; although recent college graduates will also be considered. A genuine desire to learn about the complex energy industry is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, ACCESS, PowerPoint, and Word), statistical packages like SPSS, and online research is preferred. Ideal candidates will be able to demonstrate outstanding academic performance. A Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline is required, a Masters’ degree is preferred. Candidates should possess strong analytical, modeling, and critical thinking capabilities. Superior report writing, presentation, and communication skills are also desired. Candidates should be self-motivated and energetic with a strong work ethic. Candidates should also demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, a desire to work in a team environment and a commitment to collaborative problem solving. A genuine desire for continuous learning and professional development is essential.
