The copy editor and researcher will serve as the editor for the entire firm, copy editing, formatting and proofreading documents ranging from press releases, collateral materials and congressional hearing coverage to web content, client memos and business development proposals. Business Development/Writing Coordinator

High profile government relations and public affairs firm seeks a highly organized, creative, energetic and detail-oriented individual for the position of Business Development/Writing Coordinator. This position will serve the business development team in the creation of proposals, marketing materials, presentations and other written product. The coordinator will manage, edit and update all stock language for the firm including principal bios, case studies and marketing materials; develop creative and effective presentations; assist with the writing of proposals; and conduct background research. The coordinator will also work both independently and with principals to determine proactive business development projects.

The candidate should also be a strong writer who is comfortable working on teams with various levels of seniority. The ideal candidate will have work experience with creative and strategic writing projects, PowerPoint presentations, and project coordination. He or she must be able to manage and complete multiple challenging and deadline-oriented projects on a regular basis.
