Biographies:
Ken Inadomi
Ken Inadomi is Executive Director of the New York Mortgage Coalition, a housing nonprofit that promotes and protects affordable homeownership for working class families in New York while originating over $100M in affordable mortgages each year. Entering the nonprofit world in 2008 after three decades in the private sector, Ken is now focused on giving back to New York where he’s enjoyed living since 1980.
Alison Singer
Alison Singer is Co-Founder and President of the Autism Science Foundation. As the mother of a child with autism and legal guardian of her adult brother with autism, she is a natural advocate. Since 2007, Alison has served on the national Interagency Autism Coordinating Committee (IACC) which is charged with writing a strategic plan to guide federal spending for autism research. Alison also currently serves on the executive board of the Yale Child Study Center, on the external advisory board of the Marcus Autism Center at Emory University, and on the external advisory board of the CDC’s Center for Birth Defects and Developmental Disabilities. She chairs the International Society for Autism Research public relations committee and is a member of the IMFAR program committee and community advisory committee.
Rebecca Schwartz
Rebecca Schwartz is the Director of Education for Waterwell, where she manages a comprehensive theater education program that brings the expertise of a professional theater company to a New York City public school. Rebecca has worked in education and arts administration for non-profits including Manhattan Theatre Club, The Public Theater, Culture Project and The Old Globe. Additionally, with the Peace Corps in Guatemala, she led sustainable public health and professional development initiatives.
Ned Sullivan
Ned Sullivan is President of Scenic Hudson, one of the leading preservation organizations that works to protect and restore the Hudson River and its majestic landscape as a national treasure and vital resource for residents and visitors. He has been President since 1999 and has directed the organization through a period of dramatic growth in its impact and national recognition as a leader in its field. In 2011, reflecting Ned’s effectiveness in forging broad-based coalitions and fostering green job-creation, Governor Andrew Cuomo appointed him as the only environmental representative on his economic development council.
Peter Young (Moderator)
Peter Young is President and a Managing Director of Young & Partners, a leading boutique investment banking firm focused on the life science and chemical industries. He manages the firm and is actively involved in client transactions and financings. Under his leadership, Young & Partners has established and maintained its position as a highly regarded firm.
