APHA’s
Annual Meeting and Exposition is the pre-eminent public health event. With more than 13,000 attendees and 1,000 presentations, we convene public health leaders from around the globe to network, discuss and share the latest in research and policy.

Become a presenter — Deadline Feb. 10-14
Join us for a
 rewarding experience in New Orleans
by submitting an abstract. This is the premier opportunity to share your research on a grand stage, enhance your CV and expand your career opportunities. We welcome abstracts related to all areas of public health, including those that coincide with the 2014
theme, "Healthography: How Where You Live Affects Your Health and Well-being."
Organize a pre-conference Learning Institute — Deadline Feb. 7
Help your colleagues gain practical skills in public health practice by conducting a Learning Institute. Learning Institutes are full- or half-day interactive, skill building courses. We encourage proposals that address competencies such as biostatistics,
epidemiology, data management, public health informatics and systems thinking.
Review submitted abstracts — Deadline Feb. 14
Thank you for volunteering to review submitted abstracts in 2013. Members like you make the meeting the must-attend public health event of the year. Join us again this year to help showcase the highest quality presentations at the 2014 Annual Meeting.
