Setting a Culturally Inclusive Table: How to Be an Effective Nutrition Educator

Dear NYCNEN Members and Friends,

We hope that you will be able to join us on Friday, February 7th for NYCNEN's skill building meeting this year; "Setting a Culturally Inclusive Table: How to be and Effective Nutrition Educator". This skill builder will begin with a brief presentation about changes to SNAP enrollment followed by tips for being an effective nutrition educator when working with a diverse community of SNAP eligible clients. Through an interactive exercise we'll explore new techniques to provide relevant nutrition information to individuals and families as well as provide you with a toolbox of valuable nutrition education resources. This meeting is co-sponsored by the Nutrition Program at Hunter College and the CUNY School of Public Health.
