Phyllis Crowley has been a Registered Dietitian since 1986 and first became certified as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant in 2001 (recertifying by exam in 2011).  Her passion has been working in the WIC Program since 1993 and combining her lactation knowledge with her nutrition knowledge to provide the best support possible for WIC participants.  Currently, she is the State Nutrition Coordinator for the Utah WIC Program where she manages and supervises the nutrition and breastfeeding components of the program.

Description:
In this webinar, you will learn about the management of some of the most commonly reported breastfeeding concerns.  These concerns include latch and breastfeeding positions, sore nipples (in the first week and after the first month), physiologic engorgement, pathologic engorgement, insufficient milk supply, thrush and returning to work and/or school.  In addition, you will learn strategies for preventing and/or treating these common concerns.
