Job Title: Marketing and Sales Intern (Full-time positions will be considered for appropriate candidates)
Term: Summer 2014 (Start date no later than June 9th & end date no earlier than August 8th)

Company Description: JDS Development Group, one of the most active residential real estate development companies in New York City, is working on dynamic new buildings that redefine the skyline.  With its affiliated construction division, JDS Development is able to see a project through from acquisition to completion with both precision and efficiency.  JDS is currently building several million square feet valued in the billions of dollars.  The company’s dynamic team of management professionals and engineers oversee project management activities such as bidding, planning, coordination, scheduling, and cost control from pre-development through project closeout.
Job Responsibilities: Interns will be expected to support project management staff and assist with overall project administration including, but not limited to:
·     Attend internal and external project meetings to help with coordination of information among the project management staff; create meeting agendas, take meeting minutes, and follow-up on action items
·     Review and coordinate details of marketing, sales, and brand development for projects
·     Assist with creation and maintenance of spreadsheets and lists relating to project coordination, progress, and completion.
·     Perform administrative tasks including the preparation of letters, memos, reports, and other correspondence.
·     Prepare contracts and financial statements for subsequent review of Project Director and Financial Team
·     Coordinate and facilitate site visits with outside parties
·     Conduct research relating to the project
 Qualifications
· Educational background and/or work experience in Marketing/Sales/Communications; Architecture/Interior Design; Real Estate
·    Minimum 3.0 GPA
·    Desire to work in a team-oriented environment with a proven history of doing so successfully
·     Positive attitude to work hard, be diligent, follow-up and smile while doing so
·     Open mind and motivation to seek constructive criticism and apply it immediately
·     History of asking insightful questions and contributing what you learn creatively
·     Knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel, and Adobe Acrobat
