Webinar on Community Health Needs Assessments
CDC’s Public Health Law Program and the Network for Public Health Law are co-hosting a webinar on Wednesday, March 26, 2014, at 2:00–3:30 pm (EDT). Molly Berkery from CDC’s Public Health Law Program and Professor Mary Crossley from the University of
Pittsburgh School of Law will discuss the new community health needs assessment (CHNA) requirements for charitable 501(c)(3) hospitals.
- Ms. Berkery will provide an overview of the CHNA legal framework and CDC resources for implementing the CHNA process.
- Professor Crossley will describe strategies for moving from the “assessment” stage to broader population health initiatives and highlight how such community investments may provide a solid return on investment for hospitals in a changing healthcare environment.
