Beginner's Level Conversational
Spanish for Social Workers
with Rosita Romero, LCSW


This twenty hour course is designed for social workers with little to no knowledge of Spanish. By the end of the twenty hours participants will be able to:

*         Greet a Spanish speaking person both in person and over the phone.

*         Learn the numbers zero to ten in Spanish in order to write down a phone number to relay a message.

*         Tell a Spanish speaking person that you will find someone to assist him/her in person or over the phone.

*         Give a Spanish speaking person a referral to a Spanish speaking professional.

*         Learn basic terms for major issues affecting Spanish speaking immigrant families
