The Tarakhovsky laboratory is seeking a highly motivated and experienced full time research technician with a two-year minimum commitment. The candidate will work on a project in our laboratory aimed to understand the functionality and the role of chromatin regulators in cellular process and viral responses.
 
The successful candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in science; with emphasis in biology, immunology, biochemistry or genetics preferred. Previous experience in a lab setting is required. Experience with cell culture technique and molecular biology is essential. Experience with mouse handling and models is a plus. The successful candidate should be able to work in a collaborative team and independently. The candidate should also be able to carry out complex experiments paying great attention to detail and record keeping with the ability to organize, analyze, calculate and present data. Must possess strong interpersonal skills, ability to prioritize work, and excellent verbal and written skills.
