Call for Abstracts and Pre-Registration: CUNY Summer STEM Research Symposium
Abstracts due:
July 14

CUNY CREST invites students from across CUNY to present at the one-day CUNY Summer STEM Research Symposium on August 8. Areas of research include but are not limited to atmospheric sciences, geology, geophysics, glaciology, global climate and weather studies, informational technology, oceanography, physical geography, remote sensing of the ocean and atmosphere, and soil science. Minority Biomedical Research Support – Research Initiative for Scientific Enhancement (MBRS-RISE)
Application Deadline:
March 7 DEADLINE EXTENDED UNTIL SPOTS FILLED
Eligibility Requirements: Click here

The MBRS-RISE program offers research experience and academic and financial support for undergraduate and graduate students interested in biomedical research and eventually obtaining a PhD. Students participate in a Hunter Faculty member’s research lab, and receive financial support and a tuition waiver. Students also receive support to present their work at a scientific conference, and participate in other professional development activities.

Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI) Scholars 
Application Deadline: August 1

Eligibility Requirements: Click here

Hunter/HHMI offers economically disadvantaged undergraduate Biology majors the opportunity to work in a faculty member's research lab at Hunter College as Hunter/HHMI Undergraduate Scholars.

HOW TO APPLY
