Funding Opportunity
Health Impact Assessment (HIA) in Local Health Departments
(LHDs)
Through support from the CDC’s Healthy Community Design Initiative, the National Association of City and County Health Officials (NACCHO) is supporting a competitive funding opportunity for HIAs spearheaded by LHDs. Approximately three awards of $15,000
each will be awarded to LHDs to engage in activities that will lead to the completion of a HIA focusing on transportation, land use, parks and recreation, community design, or energy. An informational call about the RFA will be held Tuesday, August 5, 2014
from 1:00 - 2:00 EDT. The call will be recorded and posted to the web site listed above afterwards. Please register for the call
