" The American Mock World Health Organization (AMWHO) Conference 2014 is set to be held  within the UNC Gillings School of Public Health from October 3rd-5th. This will be the very first simulation of the World Health Assembly in the entire nation, and seeks to invite undergraduate and graduate students to a weekend of debate and discussion on our theme, "Health in Times of Conflict." Participants will be able to represent a particular role of either a WHO Ambassador, NGO Representative, or Media Correspondent, and will work with other like-minded individuals to form a working resolution to send to the World Health Assembly in Geneva, Switzerland.

The main goal and purpose in creating AMWHO is to educate fellow students in the proceedings of the World Health Organization, given that academia tends to have little focus on the WHO's background, mission, and role. By doing so, we feel that more students will be informed of the plethora of global health opportunities that exist in this world.

Students  who might be interested in attending this very educational and interactive conference. have to register at the website, www.amwho2014.com, and will select a role they wish to represent shortly after. Furthermore, they are given an option to stay with another delegate in the UNC area, to reduce costs of boarding. "

My best regards
