[cid:image003.jpg@01CFD820.A1B5E800] ABOUT THE SPEAKER: Dr. Manuel Franco is an Associate Professor at University of Alcalá in Madrid (Spain) where he leads the Social and Cardiovascular Epidemiology research group, and Adjunct Professor at Johns Hopkins University. His work focuses on the social determinants of cardiovascular diseases and its major risk factors. He is lead investigator on a new study funded by the European Research Council to examine neighborhood factors and cardiovascular risk in Madrid. Lorna Thorpe.
