Position Description: Part or Full-time (full time preferred) bilingual-English and Chinese (Mandarin) research / project coordinator needed to assist physician with research projects taking place within the Department of Pediatrics at NYU School of Medicine / Bellevue Hospital Center/Charles B. Wang Community Health Center. Projects involve looking at the impact of parent literacy on children's health, with areas of focus on childhood obesity prevention. The research assistant / project coordinator would help with multiple aspects of research projects, including but not limited to: Coordination of data collection: - Enrollment of families - Performing parent interviews and administration of assessments - Coordination of follow-up Maintenance of research data: - Scoring of questionnaires and assessments - Data entry / database creation Administrative support: - Preparation / translation of documents - Preparation of materials for assessments - Assistance in preparation of Institutional Review Board (IRB) documents - Assistance in manuscript and grant preparation - Ordering / organizing study materials, including incentives for participation and office supplies We offer a competitive salary and an attractive benefit package (full-time hires only).
