In celebration of Food Day, GNYDA is organizing a group of NYSDA members to participate in the Big Apple Crunch held in Union Square @ noon on Friday, October 24, 2014.

Big Apple Crunch is a fun, participatory citywide celebration of healthy eating. Businesses, schools, organizations and individuals in all five boroughs come together to take part in the "crunch heard 'round the world!" Last year 1,000,000 New Yorkers ate an apple! This year we'll try and beat our own record.
