Proponents of the 2012 standards of the National School Lunch Program maintain that emphasis on "healthy," low-fat food will address child overweight, despite research trials demonstrating that restriction doesn't work. But students aren't fooled. They know they aren't getting enough to eat.

 

This month we print last year's popular newsletter, "Coping with School Lunch." It encourages you to keep on protesting and, while you protest, find ways to make the best of it.
