The Department of Human Nutrition and Hospitality Management at the University of Alabama is recruiting a full-time tenured or tenure-track faculty member (9 month appointment) with expertise in
the area of community nutrition. We are seeking your help in recruiting the best candidate.
In particular, they are seeking candidates with the ability to establish and sustain a focused
research program in community nutrition, including pursuits of extramural research funding. Primary responsibilities for this position also include teaching courses at the undergraduate, masters and doctoral level in support of the Food and Nutrition baccalaureate
program, Master of Science in Human Nutrition program, and Nutrition concentration in the Ph.D. in Health Education/Promotion program. Additional responsibilities include assisting in program development and mentoring students.
