Dear Colleagues,

We look forward to welcoming you on Wednesday, December 3 for the NYC Media Seminar.  Stefano DellaVigna (UC Berkeley)  will present "Does Media Concentration Lead to Biased Coverage? Evidence from Movie Reviews.”  This will be our last seminar for the fall semester.  We reconvene on February 4, 2015, when Greg Crawford (University of Zurich) will present “The Welfare Effects of Vertical Integration in Multichannel Television Markets.”

The full schedule with links to papers is available here.

The seminar meets the first Wednesday each month from 10:00-12:00 in room #1502 of the Associated Press headquarters at 450 W. 33rd St., New York City. To speed check in at AP headquarters, it is helpful but not essential to RSVP to me at [log in to unmask] or to Miklos at [log in to unmask] with your name and affiliation. Please do not respond to the LISTSERV. Please also let us know if you are interested in joining for lunch.

As always, we encourage you to pass on this message to colleagues who might like to attend or stay informed. Anyone can register for the listserv by sending an email to: [log in to unmask] with SUBSCRIBE MEDIANYC-L in the e-mail message body (and nothing else), or follow this link MEDIANYC-L and register for the list.

Miklos and I look forward to seeing you on December 3!
