Subject: Possible internship offering: MSKCC

Hi Diana,

My name is Aparna Balakrishnan, and I am the program coordinator for Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center’s FOOD (Food to Overcome Outcomes Disparities) program, within the Immigrant Health & Cancer Disparities service.

I got your card at the Food Bank TEN meeting on November 18th; I think I recall that you could put organizations in touch with potential interns?

We are looking for undergrad or grad students who might be interested in interning with us. We offer the opportunity to interact directly with patients with cancer diagnoses in need of food assistance and case management.

We are hoping to bring on 1 intern as of mid-January, and a 2nd intern as of mid-February.

Thank you,

Aparna Balakrishnan, MPH, MPA
