Overuse and misuse of antibiotics in both humans and animals can lead to a host of problems, including antibiotic resistance. This webinar provides an overview of the challenges and concerns associated with
inappropriate antibiotic use, with a focus on considerations for RDNs in various areas of practice. The webinar will also highlight current efforts at the national level to address this issue through comprehensive stewardship in both clinical care and food
animal production. This webinar is being hosted collaboratively by the Public Health Community Nutrition PG and the Hunger and Environmental Nutrition DPG.
