Dear Colleagues,

We look forward to welcoming you on Wednesday, February 4 for the first 2015 NYC Media Seminar.  Greg Crawford (University of  Zurich)  will present “The Welfare Effects of Vertical Integration in Multichannel Television Markets.”  Looking ahead, on March 4, Justin Rao (Microsoft Research) will present “Fair and Balanced? Quantifying Media Bias Through Crowdsourced Content Analysis”.

The full schedule with links to papers is available here.

The seminar meets the first Wednesday each month from 10:00-12:00 in room #1502 of the Associated Press headquarters at 450 W. 33rd St., New York City. To speed check in at AP headquarters, it is helpful but not essential to RSVP to me at [log in to unmask] or to Miklos at [log in to unmask] with your name and affiliation. Please do not respond to the LISTSERV. Please also let us know if you are interested in joining for lunch.
