CUNYCAP offers CUNY graduate/PhD students the opportunity to work for 20 hours/week in any of the senior and community colleges throughout the city, and the students are eligible for many of the perks that come along with being a college assistant.

Some of these perks include:
  • Tuition waiver for each semester (maximum of 6 credits)
  • Health insurance
  • Paid vacation and sick days
  • Tuition reimbursement for each semester (offered through the union)
