Before you start studying for the MCAT exam, you’ll need to know the basics, which you’ll get from your introductory courses in biology, general chemistry, organic chemistry, and physics, and in first-semester psychology, sociology, and biochemistry.

Once you’ve got those under your belt, you’ll be ready to prepare for the new MCAT exam. Here are some tips:

  • Explore the free interactive tool, What's on the MCAT2015 Exam?, to discover the concepts and skills that you’ll be tested on, understand the categories of the new exam, and view videos and other materials.
  • View the free Khan Academy MCAT Collection video tutorials and answer review questions that cover the 10 foundational concepts on the new MCAT exam.
  • Practice taking questions in an online MCAT test environment. With these practice questions and sample test, you can take the practice questions up to 20 times:
