The program for the 2015 Healthy Aging Summit is packed with 2 days of nationally and internationally renowned plenary speakers—plus 20 concurrent sessions with national experts in 4 tracks. Attendees can also take advantage of speed share and poster sessions to learn more about current projects and research on healthy aging.

Speed Share

Make the most of your time at the Summit by joining 20-minute speed share sessions in the afternoons. These interactive sessions encourage audience participation and provide an excellent opportunity to quickly get up to speed on a variety of topics. The 12 sessions will feature topics such as therapeutic robots, education of future health professionals, emergency care coordination, transportation to wellness visits, physical activities for older adults, safe and affordable housing, and more.

Posters

Posters will be on display during the Summit on Monday, July 27 from 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., and on Tuesday, July 28 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Make sure to take a look at the 24 posters during session and lunch breaks, and attend the poster reception on Monday, July 27 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Posters will be presented on topics such as dementia training standards, nutritional risks in older adults, promoting elder justice, vaccinations among older adults, cognitive impairment recognition, preventive services for older adults, patient-centered digital health interventions, elder abuse indicators, falls prevention, and more.
