Provides behaviorally-focused nutrition education to limited resource parents/caregivers of children ages 0-13, as well as professional leadership, management, supervision and support for all portions of the project, as assigned. Assists with the management of a grant-funded budget and co-authoring the annual grant. Responsible for the oversight and training of volunteers and train-the-educator programs to staff at agencies interested in offering education to their eligible participants. The goal of the education provided is to help program participants improve child feeding practices to prevent obesity; food security; dietary quality; physical activity; and food safety behaviors.
