Volunteers Needed for Policy Stance Updates
The Academy periodically convenes work groups to assist in the development or reconsideration of stances for nutrition policy issues.  Work groups are currently being formed that will update the Academy’s antibiotic resistance and residue and food and beverage taxation stances.  The work groups will consist of 9 members each charged with reviewing the literature and making a recommendation to the Legislative and Public Policy Committee.  Members with expertise in these areas are encouraged tosubmit a letter of interest and a curriculum vitae by the deadline of October 7, 2015.
