Still time to submit comments to FDA on percent daily value for added sugars
While the deadline to submit comments on the FDA proposed rule on the percent Daily Value for added sugars was Oct 13, it looks to still be open for comments due to technical difficulties that prevented some comments from being submitted. Sign-on letters

  *   Trust for America's Health (TFAH) is circulating an organizational sign-on letter<http://healthyamericans.org/health-issues/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/Budget-letter-to-President-PPHF-10-2-15-RS-jjr.pdf> to the President supporting a balanced approach to sequestration relief which maintains full funding for the Prevention and Public Health Fund. TFAH is seeking signatures from senior organizational leaders.
  *   SHAPE America is circulating an organizational sign-on letter asking that the Senate's Every Child Achieves Act provisions that include health and physical education as core subjects and the reauthorization of the Carol M. White PEP grant remain in the conferenced bill.
