I would like to let you know about a free, upcoming scientific event titled, Pre-Approval Access: Can Compassion, Business, and Medicine Coexist?  This event will be held at the New York Academy of Sciences Conference Center on Wednesday, October 28 - Thursday, October 29, 2015.  The NYU School of Medicine and the New York Academy of Sciences are jointly presenting this colloquium which shall explore challenges surrounding pre-approval access to investigational medicines.  This event will convene a diverse group of international stakeholders - including representatives of patient-advocacy organizations, regulatory agencies, pharmaceutical companies, non-governmental organizations, and legislatures.
